This middle grade story is perfect for a nice ride with children. It has mystery and intelligence as well as a little distinct New Orleans jazz music. I loved the sound effects that made the story come alive as well as the singing portions that made me feel like I was in New Orleans with the main character. I’d recommend this short mystery for parents who want to listen to an audiobook with their kids on the road and not roll their eyes the entire time. The narrator does an amazing job with the characters and bringing them to life in different ways with accents, intonation and pace. The run time is between 4-5 hours and its a quick mystery that keeps you entertained!
